# Connect Health Platforms and Apps to Veyda

> Link Apple Health, Google Fit, MyFitnessPal, Strava, and other health platforms to Veyda for unified, comprehensive health data analysis.

Health platforms and apps act as aggregators — they collect data from your devices, manual logs, and third-party services and store it in one place. By connecting these platforms to Veyda, you give Veyda access to a consolidated stream of health data without needing to connect every individual device separately. Whether your health data lives in Apple Health, Google Fit, MyFitnessPal, or Strava, Veyda reads from these sources and combines them into a single, coherent picture of your health.

## Primary health platforms

Your primary health platform depends on your device ecosystem. Connect the one that matches your phone's operating system to give Veyda the broadest possible access to your device data.

  <Tab title="iOS — Apple Health">
    Apple Health acts as a central hub for health data on iPhone and Apple Watch. When you connect Apple Health to Veyda, Veyda can read every category of health data you choose to share — from activity and sleep to nutrition, mindfulness, and clinical records.

    <Tip>
      Enable all Apple Health categories when prompted during the Veyda authorization flow. The more categories you share, the more complete and accurate your Veyda insights become. You can always adjust individual category permissions later in the Health app under your profile.
    </Tip>

    **Data synced from Apple Health:**

    * Activity — steps, active energy, exercise minutes, stand hours, flights climbed, workouts
    * Heart rate — resting, walking average, workout, and background readings
    * Heart rate variability (HRV) — SDNN measurements
    * Sleep — sleep stages (Core, Deep, REM), duration, time in bed
    * Blood oxygen (SpO2) — spot checks and overnight averages
    * Respiratory rate — breaths per minute during sleep
    * Body measurements — weight, BMI, body fat percentage, lean body mass
    * Nutrition — calories, macronutrients, micronutrients (if logged in Health or a connected app)
    * Mindfulness — meditation minutes from apps like Calm or Headspace
    * Menstrual health — cycle tracking data
    * ECG — rhythm classification results from Apple Watch
