Getting up and running with Veyda takes only a few minutes. By the end of this guide you will have a connected data source, a populated Insights dashboard, and your first notification configured — giving Veyda everything it needs to start learning your patterns and delivering meaningful health intelligence from day one.
1

Create your Veyda account

Navigate to veyda.com and select Get started for free. Enter your email address and choose a strong password, then confirm your email using the verification link Veyda sends you.Once your email is verified, you will be directed to your Health Profile setup. Fill in the following fields:
  • Age — used to calibrate baselines and reference ranges appropriate for your life stage.
  • Biological sex — informs metric interpretation for indicators such as heart rate variability and iron levels.
  • Health goals — choose one or more from options like better sleep, fitness performance, weight management, stress reduction, or longevity. You can update these at any time.
Take five minutes to complete your Health Profile in full before connecting any devices. The more context Veyda has about you upfront, the more accurate and relevant your initial insights will be. An incomplete profile means generic baselines; a complete one means insights calibrated to you.
2

Connect your first data source

After saving your Health Profile, Veyda takes you to the Connect a source screen. You will see two categories:
  • Wearables — Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop, Oura Ring, and more.
  • Health apps — Apple Health, Google Fit, MyFitnessPal, and others.
Select the device or app you want to connect first. Veyda redirects you to that platform’s authorization screen, where you grant Veyda read access to your health data. Review the permissions listed, then confirm. You will be returned to Veyda automatically once authorization is complete. You can connect additional sources at any time from Settings > Integrations.
3

Wait for your initial data sync

After a successful authorization, Veyda begins pulling your historical data from the connected source. This first sync typically takes two to five minutes, depending on how much historical data the source has available.A progress indicator on the Integrations page shows the sync status. You do not need to keep the page open — Veyda syncs in the background and sends you a notification when your data is ready.
The more historical data your connected source has available, the richer Veyda’s trend analysis will be from the start. A device with six months of data will produce significantly more meaningful trend insights than one with only a week’s worth. If you have older devices, consider connecting them as additional sources so Veyda has the broadest possible view of your history.
4

View your first insights

Once your initial sync completes, open the Insights dashboard from the left navigation menu. Veyda presents your first set of personalized insights organized into cards by category — sleep, activity, cardiovascular, recovery, and more, depending on what data your source provides. Each insight card includes:
  • A plain-language summary of what Veyda observed.
  • A sparkline or chart showing the underlying trend.
  • A recommended action, where relevant.
Select any card to expand the full detail view, including the data behind the insight and how your current metric compares to your personal baseline.
5

Set up your first notification

Navigate to Settings > Notifications to configure how and when Veyda contacts you.
  1. Choose your preferred channel: Push, Email, or In-app.
  2. Select which insight categories you want alerts for — for example, sleep score drops, elevated resting heart rate, or recovery readiness.
  3. Set your alert threshold if prompted (for example, notify me when my sleep score falls below 65).
  4. Save your preferences.
Veyda will now proactively reach out when something in your data warrants your attention, so you do not have to remember to check in.
